As Mayor of Godalming, Shirley nominated What Next? Climate Emergency Centre for Waverley as her charity of the year. The team at What Next? have dedicated themselves to providing information and support to people who are concerned about the climate.

What Next? offers free planet friendly meals every other Friday at the Denningberg Centre. Shirley is working on setting up a Library of Things to run from the Library in Godalming, and will bring charities, community groups and local Councils together.
